Quality Paper

Our 190 GSM paper is thick and long-lasting, with a smooth finish that serves as the perfect canvas for your map prints. This paper is built to last, with a special coating that captures colours vividly and ensures your prints stay vibrant for years to come.

What does paper weight mean?

When it comes to evaluating printing paper quality, one of the most common measures is grams per square meter (GSM).

GSM measures how much a specific type of paper weighs when cut into a one-square-meter sample, roughly 3.3 by 3.3 feet.

For reference, a newspaper usually weighs about 45 GSM, while standard printer paper is typically around 90 GSM.

We take pride in our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, starting with our choice of premium raw materials. That's why we use 190 GSM paper, which is not only sustainably sourced but also impressively thick and substantial to the touch.

Canadian Print Shop

Our local Canadian print house carefully selects sustainably sourced paper with fiber originating from FSC-certified, longstanding plantations, or from new fiber plantations established on degraded agricultural or pasture lands within Canada.

Their selection of paper from responsible sources are backed with certifications from:

  • The Forest Stewardship Council
  • The Rainforest Alliance
  • The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification
  • The Sustainable Forestry Initiative
  • The Canadian Standards Association
