Liberty Village Neighbourhood
The name Liberty Village is said to be a reference to the Central Prison and the Mercer Reformatory for Women that were situated here in the late1800s and early 1900s. Liberty Street —the neighbourhood’s main east-west thoroughfare —is so named because it was the first ground prisoners set foot upon once they were granted their release.

Liberty Village has become a sought after address by Toronto young urban professionals. While historic factory buildings still dot the area, many have been converted for contemporary uses, from cool lofts to even cooler restaurants and bars. Centred on the Liberty Market Building, this neighbourhood is where Toronto’s young urban professionals choose to live, work and play.

Just across the tracks from BMO Field, Liberty Village is the best place for post-game celebrations following a Toronto FC victory. After every game, neighbourhood sports bars are packed to the brim with fans sporting their red scarves.

Custom map orders require 1-2 weeks to design, review, print and ship.

All our prints are packaged in 100% recycled cardboard poster tubes or stiff photo envelopes.

They are printed on 190GSM smooth PhotoSatin paper which offers vivid colors and great contrasting blacks.

Our local Canadian print house carefully selects sustainably sourced paper with fiber originating from FSC-certified, longstanding plantations, or from new fiber plantations established on degraded agricultural or pasture lands within Canada.
